I won't vote for McCain, but I probably won't vote for Obama either. I'm a tween.

Brenda, I started this long schlog for John Edwards. After that, I leaned heavily towards Hillary. When Obama won the nomination, I thought about it and decided I was comfortable with the Democratic Party taking the whole enchilada next month.
Obama? Not only am I not afraid of him, I trust him and the people he has gathered around him to make the country work after the disaster that has been these past 8 years.

I assume this is for your friends in the swing states. The presidential election was decided in California months before the convention. It's some of the other issues that are going to send me to the polls.
That and a sense of duty I guess. My kids are watching and I need to show them that it's important to vote.
Steven pointed out to me today that he'll be turning 18 a few months before the next presidential election.
He was wondering if he'd be able to vote.
I said yes, he could register to vote but since he would still be in high school, a parent would have to approve his ballot before he turned it in.
